Bathroom Tile Supply

.

As a bathroom only showroom we do not display a range of wall or floor tiles due to space constraints, but we can arrange the supply of tiles through a local/national retailer at trade prices upon the purchase of your bathroom equipment! Please use the tile calculator below to assist you in the quantity you require. Tiles used in bathrooms come in a wide variety of materials, sizes, colours, and designs. The choice of tiles can significantly impact the overall aesthetics and functionality of a bathroom.

Here are some common types of tiles used in bathrooms:

  1. Ceramic Tiles: These are a popular choice for bathroom walls and floors due to their durability, water resistance, and wide range of colours and patterns. They are relatively affordable and easy to clean.

  2. Porcelain Tiles: Similar to ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles are known for their water resistance and durability. They are fired at higher temperatures, making them harder and more suitable for high-traffic areas like bathroom floors.

  3. Glass Tiles: Glass tiles can add a luxurious and modern touch to a bathroom. They are often used as decorative accents, backsplashes, or shower walls. They come in various colours and finishes, including translucent and reflective options.

  4. Natural Stone Tiles: Materials like marble, granite, travertine, and slate can be used in bathrooms to create a more elegant and sophisticated look. However, natural stone tiles require proper sealing and maintenance to prevent water damage and staining.

  5. Mosaic Tiles: Mosaic tiles are small pieces of tile arranged in a pattern or design. They can be made from various materials such as glass, ceramic, porcelain, or natural stone. Mosaics are often used to create intricate patterns, borders, or focal points.

  6. Metro Tiles: These rectangular tiles, typically measuring 20 x 10cm, are a classic choice for bathroom walls. They can be arranged in different patterns, such as the traditional brick pattern or herringbone.

  7. Patterned Tiles: Patterned tiles can add visual interest and a unique flair to a bathroom. They come in various designs, including geometric, floral, and Moroccan-inspired patterns.

  8. Vinyl Tiles: Vinyl tiles are a budget-friendly option that is water-resistant and easy to install. They come in a wide range of colours and designs, including options that mimic the look of natural materials like wood or stone.

  9. Cork Tiles: Cork tiles are environmentally friendly and can provide a warm and comfortable feel underfoot. They are water-resistant when properly sealed and can be a unique choice for bathroom floors.

  10. Terracotta Tiles: Terracotta tiles add a rustic and earthy charm to bathrooms. They have a warm colour palette and are suitable for areas with minimal water exposure.

  11. Metallic Tiles: Metallic tiles, often made of stainless steel or aluminium, can be used as accents or backsplashes in bathrooms to create a modern and industrial look.

When choosing tiles for your bathroom, consider factors such as water resistance, maintenance requirements, aesthetics, and your budget. It's also important to ensure that the chosen tiles are appropriate for the specific areas they will be installed in, such as shower walls, bathroom floors, and backsplashes. Also, consider shower panelling in wet areas such as shower or bath enclosures for a more durable and easy to clean option, and to avoid grout staining.
